Carved, Not Cast
Aprons, legs and scrollwork are carved from solid, kiln-dried hardwood by artisans — never moulded resin or printed composite. The depth of the relief is something only the hand can achieve, and the reason these pieces read as heirloom rather than décor.
Genuine Gold & Silver Leaf
We finish with real metal leaf laid sheet by sheet over a gesso ground, then burnished and gently antiqued by hand. It catches and warms the light with a depth that metallic paint simply cannot imitate — and it deepens, rather than dulls, with age.
Stone Tops, Built to Last
Marble and stone tops are cut and polished to the frame, then set into joinery that's pinned and glued to carry real weight for generations. These are tables made to be lived with — lamps, post, keys and all — and one day, passed down.
Carved by Hand, Built to Last
This console table's frame is carved from solid hardwood, then sealed, finished, and burnished entirely by hand — the same centuries-old European method behind every piece we carry. Gilding is laid leaf by leaf and softly antiqued, and stone tops are cut and polished to the frame, so the finish has a depth no factory process can imitate. Made to be lived with, and passed down.

Hand-carved solid hardwood frame with a gesso ground and a genuine metal-leaf or hand-applied wood finish, sealed and lightly antiqued by hand. Marble and stone tops are natural stone — veining and tone vary from slab to slab, so no two tables are quite alike. Each frame is individually finished, so subtle variation in tone and patina is part of its character.
Dust the frame gently with a dry, soft cloth — never use water, solvents, or commercial polish on a gilded surface. Wipe marble and stone tops with a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and dry them straight away; avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners, and use coasters or felt under anything that could mark the stone.
